Im baffled on so many levels.

Why did he ever join them idiots?

Why do Madrid think he is any good?

Why are they targeting successful ex reds or ex blues that have never won a bloody thing?

How was the deal done so quickly?

Why do they bother?

Who are they?

One of my mates got a puppy a few weeks ago and called him Carlo (magnifico), I have just text asking if he needs some sort of pets deed poll to change to Duncan or Sam?

Update. He says he's keeping the name in tribute to making them dream again and laying foundations for the next manager. I kid you not.

Mentioned the four opening games.

James getting used to the league this season and to kick on next season.

Finally winning a Derby (against an injury and form ravaged side in an empty stadium).

Nah, never. Why?

Don't know what you're missing. Back when United were very successful and we weren't, it was always cathartic to crush them virtually.

Stevie G could take the Everton job and do that, but frankly it wouldn't be a challenge.  He could sell off all their half-decent players and leave them with dreck, but whst would he do for the second half of the week?

Just seen this on GOT- I clearly missed Top Of the Pops that week?

What the hell are they going on about?

7 months ago we were all buzzing, sitting in the top 4 playing decent football, spirit of the blues slapping Miley Cyrus off the charts, Forever Everton reaching number 1 in the album charts, proper feel good factor and positivity, thinking we all had something to finally be excited about.... who’d have though 7 months later we’d have finished 10th behind Leeds, having had our worse home record in history and ultimately losing our manager.

It’s a tough one supporting Everton it really is. We just aren’t allowed to have happiness.

How on earth did Everton FC form Liverpool. They couldn't afford their rent so fucked off that's their only input. Imagine if they coughed up! the misery they would of saved them selves and the City the city will always be called Liverpool no matter the insane ownership claims they make.

They did give us Duncan McLean and Thomas G Wylie - two prescient heroes who, when the rest of the players fucked off across the Park, had the good sense to say "Nah! Better off at Anfield, thanks."

Grim reality starting to set in now.

NorthernBlue

Player Valuation: £8m
Europe is pie in the sky stuff right now

We have no manager, we have a failing DOF with an awful track record, we have older players bought specifically to play under Ancelotti, we are the butt of the joke right now.

We are looking at a perfect storm here, and it could go very badly wrong.

Toxic mix of players from 4 managers now. Majority are average at best. On sky high contracts. We are deffo in implosion territory here

They offered him a ludicrous amount of money, and let him bring his lad along for a similarly ludicrous salary, with extraordinarily low expectations.

Just as Mourinho is running out of clubs to manage, so too Real Madrid are running out of managers to appoint. He’s a big enough name to sate the fans, has a good enough CV to keep the dressing room happy, and will do what he’s told.

Ancelotti had a release clause, it was the only way that they got him to take the job on the first place.
