I had 5 Live on this morning and that bitter prick Richard Dunne was predicting his Top 4

Man City

Man Utd

Chelsea

Leicester

You could virtually hear the bile in his voice as he read it out

We've got the shite then arsenal beginning of April. Wolves away in March looks tricky on paper. united away beginning of May. All the other fixtures should be winable if we hit form.

If they are not winable, we dont deserve to finish in the top 4 but I think we will.

From RAWK:

I'd like to see Jurgen set the tone at the press conference by referring to the game at Goodison.

Managers need to call out thuggery for what it is, and call out referees for what they are. A carefully worded piece about Everton playing fair this time, how we need more protection (plus how Virgil's recovery is going) might help remind their players and the media just how poor that game was on every professional level. We need to keep adding to the narrative that violent play still exists, how it often goes unpunished, and that the level of match officiating needs to improve.

This game always generates huge media coverage and hopefully Jurgen can get in their players, managers, and the match officials heads before a ball is kicked, whilst giving the journalists the soundbites to set the stage.

HAHAHAHAHA

That would be the most stupid thing they could do. It would just mean Robertson, VVD and Mane would have got sent off in the last derby.

Hopefully Ancelotti highlights their thuggery and that we need protection.

I remember van Dijk going through Rodriguez early on, but have no idea what Mane or Robertson are supposed to have done. Clearly it's on a par with ending a player's season and putting another out for months through sheer petulance and spite.

CCChhhamez lad ran into VVD who simply stood his ground and Ccchhaaaamez lad dropped like the sack of shit he is. The rest are all invented stories that they've all decided to believe fully.

Damn, I was hoping Robbo had stamped on someone's bollocks and got away with it.

I think just before the diving cunt got sent off, but during the same period of play Robertson went down someone's calf as a follow through, purely accidentally. Obviously this is why Thiago was assaulted seconds later as a defence of his team mate. I could be remembering this incorrectly.

No idea about Mane

EDIT: I remembered it sort of, but it was earlier in the game.

Everton fans FUMMMMMME;

In the clip, the Liverpool defender can be seen lunging in on the Brazil international after passing the ball to his captain Jordan Henderson. However, the incident happened off of the ball and it is up for debatable whether Robertson meant to do it or not.

EDIT:EDIT: The replies to that tweet are brilliant.

i suspect this will happen & sadly the media will lap it up

Ancelotti needs to bring up the death threats sent to Pickford, his wife and his little child. That those who hype what was an unfortunate accident up are partially complicit in this violence towards women and children.

Overall I don't worry about us. We are not a dirty team, it was an accidental collision. I worry they will be dirty especially after the previous few derbies, and ultimately get away with it again. So again, hopefully Ancelotti can make mention of that, and say protection works both ways.

I also hope we are ready for gamesmanship on Saturday. If a player gets kicked, roll about, surround the ref etc.

I hope Liverpool do see this as their big opportunity to right a percieved wrong, and spend the game trying to kick us. A scrappy game, with lots of free kicks suits us. We just have to ensure we milk the contact like they do.

The right wing media will of course be a disgrace in the lead up to this.

Just to add t

Just to add to this, there is no coincidence that they brought Van Dijk back this week, I expect a "thought provoking" special about his recovery, fearing for his career, how mentally tough it has been not being able to be with the team etc etc etc to be all over SSN on Friday

And the sole purpose of it, is to dog whistle to the scum of their fanbase who want to sent death threats to a woman and child.

I don't know about you, but there is a word I use for grown men who want to harm children (no not Kopite). Those who peddle the liars are just enablers of those people. They really need stringing from a lampost in my view, they are the absolute scum of society.

Your later point is really intersting, it could blow in their face. Calling out ref in advance, fearing for safety etc etc; one mistimed tackle and the ref could red one of them (thiago obviously)

    I think Ancelotti will make his team aware of what is to come. Obviously if you pretend to be whiter than white, then are stupid enough to try and kick your opponents, it will backfire. I just hope we are smart enough to;
    1) Make no silly tackles
    2) When a bad tackle is made, surround the ref, role around, make a huge deal of it.

If you look at our team that we will be oplaying, outside of Holgate it's difficult to think of any who really tackles. Davies used to a bit, but even he intercepts more now. Doucoure is really good at intercepting, as is Godfrey.

Edit- oh and Richarlinson, he needs to avoid doing anything stupid. But the rest generally don't, and in honesty shoudn't.

On them, you are right about Thiago, he throws in numerous poor tackles. Not red cards but probably yellow card type tackles and gets away with them. I hope we writhe around in agony if he does one.

If they go into this match the way some of their typically noncey fans are saying about trying to settle a percieved injustice, that will play right into our hands in my view. I am very happy to have them lose their rag and try to hurt us, in the era of VAR, you won't get away with it.

Fuck them. The people they employed should have foreseen this. It has been excuse after excuse with the dogs trying to bum a new ground. It was never going to be as straightforward as something like Kirkby etc.

I'd be more than happy for them to build a McDonalds on there if it stopped that bunch of twats progressing in any capacity.

As for £500m. Dream on. Throw another £250-300m on top.

Horrible horrible club with a shithouse bunch of dogs as supporters.

Don't let all this cloud your judgement on what they're capable of throwing about week in week out. Murderers, Hillsborough references, wall pushers, other teams kits bought, in bed with the Mancs in The Brick, throwing games against City, Reid, Bellew. The list goes on.

I'm with you on this brother.

    From the BBC gossip page

Everton's Colombia attacker James Rodriguez, 29, is considering leaving the club despite only moving to Goodison Park last summer. (Defensa Central - in Spanish)

    Translated text...

James Rodríguez's happiness faded when Zidane arrived on the Real Madrid bench, which was when the Colombian began to have a lesser role. The French coach, knowing that James was not a player to his liking, sent him two seasons on loan to Bayern Munich so that he would have a dignified continuity , and then he returned to later go to Everton sold.

As we have learned in Central Defense exclusively from sources very close to the white team, the Colombian is beginning to be unhappy in England.

The weather, customs, a very physical football that is causing him to chain injuries ... he is not quite happy despite the presence of Ancelotti and he has already let him fall into his surroundings that he is willing to return to Madrid, which is where he wants live, and sign for Atlético, a club he was close to leaving two years ago.

It was always clear to Real Madrid that James was a guaranteed sale last summer, and that is that the Colombian went to Everton totally free. It was a very clear dismissal in Zidane's project in all seasons.

The relationship between James and Zizou was not particularly good, and this was what caused the two to end up separated. It is important that we know the quality that the coffee soccer player has, as he is and has been a world football talent, but he has not had luck in his career to succeed as much as he would have liked.
