The cult have clearly got someone to offer Oliver a nice little earner if he agrees to be 'honest' about the decision.

Its in their best interests to keep this story front and centre, so why wouldn't they be involved in murky goings on behind the scenes to enable it.

Isn’t Castle Greyskull where He-Man draws his power from and Skeletor’s gaff of dastardly doom was/is Snake Mountain?

Sorry if I’m being a bit of a Roger Hunt.

He says he’s watched the incident over and over again, to be honest he only needs to watch it once.

It's on that fucking imbecile/corrupt cunt Coote this.  He never directed Oliver to watch the reply and didn't even look at it himself.  Still, all these refs back each other up.  Wankers.

Why wasn’t it retrospectively looked at and followed with a ban then?

Assume you mean Pickford's 'challenge'? They'd hide behind the ref had seen it but took no action, VAR had dismissed it because of the offside so there was no mechanism to retrospectively impose a ban in those circumstances. But most likely, they'd have to admit the officials screwed Liverpool over and we couldnt have that.

The offside means no penalty.  It has no bearing on the red card.

Anyone competent in the VAR box would have reviewed it and would have walked the dinosaur.

It’s rare but they’ve overturned reds since VAR has come in.  The refs have literally admitted to getting it wrong so why wasn’t that then looked at.  It’s just a daft flaw in the rules that should be looked at.

They didn't look afterwards because at the time the official line from the refs was "we looked at it and didn't see anything wrong". Months later they have now changed that stance, saying they didn't look at it after being distracted. They should be called out for lying, either then or now, as both statements seem contradictory.

From 2 days after the tackle;

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will not face retrospective action over his challenge on Virgil van Dijk in Saturday's Merseyside derby.

The FA determined the incident was seen at the time having consulted with the match officials, including VAR.
