That's because they spend the first half of the season convincing themselves that they're in with a shout of winning a trophy.  By the 2nd half of the season they can't kids themselves any more and won't fork out to watch a team that deep down they know is fucking shite having been blown out of all competitions and are already worrying about potential relegation.

To be fair to the Ev, Hamez, Allan and Doucoure would be an almighty step up from a midfield three of Gylfi, Gomes and Tom Davies. With a bit of luck they could break into the top half of the table this season.

Saw a few overexcited ones on Teitter before saying Brands went in and told Zidane to fuck off and to sell Hamez for €25m. Even though Zidane is probably on holiday and doesnt negotiate transfers.
