Ahhh, Woodison at its best? Can't think of many games at Anfield that could even come close to matching it.

The game with the Neville tackle was a 1-1 draw, but yeah we have stood up to United at home on more than one occasion. The best one was the 2005 game with Duncan's header that made finishing 4th a lot more likely. They had two players sent off but it was because we had absolutely rattled them, even Moyes had a go at Fergie after he accused us of 'kicking them off the pitch' lol .

It's a brilliant watch this, every player is giving their all from the first to the last. Cahill squared up to Keane. Duncan body checked Tim Howard, and Kilbane got Scholes in a nark causing him to be sent off. Gary Neville even got sent off for booting the ball into the family enclosure lol

Everton and Goodison at its absolute best!

Update - Doc Solomon and Pilks are both Reds who have signed up to GOT to start shit, apparently.

With Bayern getting all the plaudits we are feeling unloved and need a fix of attention...   ...yeah, fire  up another BMD story you hypocrites.

Any excuse.

“now let's say we get a few of the players we have been linked with in - the likes of Strootman (20m), Witsel (25m) and we go for Butland (30m) and VVD (30m), we buy Milik or Janssen for 15m

thats 120m spent, and probably looking at around 500k in wages (again a generous estimate)

leaves the club with 90m and 500k in wages still burning a hole in our lovely Iranians pocket, but no statement signing, just some very good ones that will make the team very competitive, say we then blow a 30m bid on Perisic (current flavour of the month after his Euro exploits and also a position we depserately need sorting) and we give him parity with rom on wages - so another 140k and 30m gone

we are then left with a 60m and 360 pw situation, to go out their and target a 'statement' signing for the club to propel us into the spotlight, go throw that at Madrid, offer them their asking price for James Rodriguez and see what they actually say when we slap the money on the table, and see what his agent says when we offer to double his current 110k pw wages.

Honestly it sounds mental even typing this out, but money talks in football, and if we are serious in making a statement then we couldn't make a bigger on than this"

Well he got the bit about it all sounding mental right. That was the only thing in the post that was correct.

Give the frequency of posts on that site, it’s quite telling that there hasn’t been a reply or a reaction to this post 5 hours after it being posted. Not even an accusation of Redshite.
