Sure, there had been some minor skirmishes abroad involving our fans. Having gone to Rome in 84, had our coaches bricked before the game, and I mean proper bricked, nothing like the city episode, then had to dodge a barrage of bricks and other missiles again coming out of the stadium, Im convinced this unfortunately led to disturbance at Heysel that escalated quickly and resulted in the tragedy.

I don't think it's a case of don't realise or forget, they just don't give a flying fuck because they are hateful gobshites who only bother taking an interest in stuff that suits their agenda. Klopp could find a cure for Covid-19 and the rabid blues would be blaming him for not getting it sorted faster (or accuse him of causing the virus just so he could be the 'big man' and cure it). They don't care about the truth in anything Liverpool related as it usually gets in the way of point scoring with their fellow knobheads. How can they accept that Alan Smith stated that his ambulance wasn't attacked if it means they can't call us cunts for attacking said ambulance. It's a societal problem that is magnified tenfold when it rears its head in the tribal context that football brings. Unfortunately whilst football is a brilliant sport which brings pleasure to so many it is also home to some of the worst 'fans' in sport, and these are the people who constantly rear their heads using any stick they can to beat people with. I was thinking about this the other day and it's not even plausible, is it?

 

When and where was the ambulance supposedly attacked?  It could only be

a)  Smith was rushed to hospital shortly after he was injured, but for some reason there was a crowd of Reds outside the ground during the game who decided to attack it; or

b)  the people treating Smith decided it would be best to wait until loads of post-match crowds and traffic had built up, before putting him in an ambulance - clearly marked "Contains Manc Player" - and sending it off with no police escort.

It was both, I heard they rushed him off, got attacked, went back, waited for the crowd to come out and then got attacked again. * spittle flying everywhere *

As soon as the Hillsborough Independent Panel produced it's findings there was a manc on a forum that stated he had personally witnessed the fans attacking Smith's ambulance. I think it was a day later that Smith finally decided to quash the lie that it happened. They are scum for a reason.

It was supposed to have happened outside the king harry with ticket less fans. It was just there were fellas on the street drinking (no idea why they weren't watching the match in the pub, unless it was half time?) and the ambo had to stop while they got out of the way.

I heard it was the Arkles as all the ticketless fans who'd been watching on tv inside, ran out when the ambulance went past with blues and twos going.

Spoke to you about this a few weeks back didnt I. In his book he said he went to Heysel. An Evertonian from Mold going to a Liverpool final in Belgium. He openly admits to selling stolen tickets for the neutral end to Juventus fans. 

 

This caused the bulk of the trouble because the fans were all next to the Liverpool fans.

 

Anyway, a few Evertonians I know are friends with him on Facebook and he has loads of JFT39 stuff on there. Bit ironic really. 

 

He also slashed some teenage Man Utd fans face so bad with a Stanley knife his parents couldn't recognise him. In the book he just says "it was one of those things".

 

Now he runs some autograph business in Mold and seems to be making a bit of money from it.
