Sky saying they’ve turned down a bid of £85m for Richarlison from Barcelona.

If they’ve actually bid then they must have spoke to him. No smoke without fire.

In other words, they aren't buying anyone but hey they didn't sell Richarlison so let's all appreciate him.

As if Barca have got a spare 100m euros right now to throw at Richarlison.

100m though. They should have kept it realistic. They'll be telling us they are building a stadium next.

In a world where a workmanlike centre half is £80m , £85m is realistic for Richarlison.

As if. Moshiri has been on to his excitable pal Jim White again, asking him to report on it because he can look good slapping back the mighty Barcelona ("we don't need your money, we're fuckin' millionnaires on the cusp of a power-shift away from the redshite"), and it makes their recruitment look less shoddy if they're on the radar of big clubs like Barcelona (remember the reds go matalan, blues go catalan shite from the summer?).

There's not enough booze in all of Catalonia for Barcelona to piss £85m up against a wall for the raging tit.

Haha haha what a scam. Nobody is paying £100m for him, they wouldn’t open the bidding at that level anyway. As someone else pointed out, it’s purely to convince their deluded fans that even this kind of offer wouldn’t make them sell him. They’re not buying anyone but look they’re not selling anyone either.

If Barcelona - the bastions of tiki taka, pass and move Cruyff total football - have really bid even a penny for ultimate hoof merchant Richarlison, Eric Abidal should be taken outside and sacked immediately. What an absolutely ruinous, directionless transfer policy they’ve pursued in recent years. He would be their version of Benteke for us. How are so many of these enormous football clubs ran so dubiously at the moment.

£30m and £55m off Usmanov to go towards the fantastic new stadium.

Luton Town were given the go ahead to start building theirs and is already financed due to a shopping park and property development. They announced it about 2 years after Everton announced their new stadium. Brentford will open theirs next season after announcing it after Everton.

Aberdeen will have a new stadium before Everton and us and Forest will have significantly developed our existing grounds.

Agree. Barcelona never "bid" for anyone, they get their players to talk them up or have a word in their ears at international get togethers then the player forces a move.
