Funny enough on football weekly they where explaining why there was a Spanish ref doing the last POAK game. Apparently during the last Derby THE chairman hand the arse with the ref went on the field and started flashing a gun to the ref. The ref changed his decision.

We get a lot of Turkish/Greek/Albanian/Yugoslavian (back in the day and they were the most volatile) teams over here in the Sunday leagues. I ended up playing in those leagues myself after ageing and the fans were just stood around the pitch getting all angry and carried blades to put off players who got close to the touchline etc. Witnessed a few officials taking a beating before a free for all between both teams/fans and the match being called off. It was pure mayhem at times and not what you wanted to be involved in, toxic as fuck. I fucked that shit off sharpish as I was getting to old and injured for the shit anyway. Never saw a gun being pulled mind, although it wouldn't have come as a surprise to find out some of their fans were carrying. One team offered us a load of weed to throw a game once, they'd have creamed us anyway, so obviously we accepted.
