Caribbean sunrise recipe

  • 65ml (2 1/2 fl oz) vodka, chilled
  • 1 lime, squeezed
  • 200ml (1/3 pint) pineapple juice, chilled
  • 50ml (2fl oz) grenadine
  • 2 fresh pineapple slices, to garnish

  • Fill 2 highball glasses with ice cubes. In a cocktail shaker or large, lidded jar, shake the vodka, lime juice and pineapple juice together with a handful of ice cubes. Strain into the highball glasses.
  • Slowly add the grenadine and stand for a minute or so while the grenadine settles into a pink layer at the base of each glass. Add a slice of pineapple to each drink before serving.

  •

Wait a minute. Dat's not pink, it's

I wonder if any of their players are made aware that some of their own fanbase don't want them to win every game and that their willingness to fully get behind the team is dependent on whether or not Everton winning benefits Liverpool or not?

If I was a top level sportsman, I'm not sure how I'd feel knowing that. It wouldn't make me overly eager to put everything into tackles etc, knowing I could injure myself on behalf of a fanbase, some of who don't really give that much of a shit about the success of the team, who are instead more concerned about what the rivals are doing.

I think they'll forever be hamstrung while they adopt that peeping over the neighbour's fence mentality.
