That's the spirit! 7 games gone, and so is their season.

I think a lot of them would be happier if they were mid-table Championship. No derby to worry about, no need to concern themselves with promotion or relegation, just an endless drift of survival without threat and Liverpool literally in a different league.

Caribbean sunrise recipe

  • 65ml (2 1/2 fl oz) vodka, chilled
  • 1 lime, squeezed
  • 200ml (1/3 pint) pineapple juice, chilled
  • 50ml (2fl oz) grenadine
  • 2 fresh pineapple slices, to garnish

  • Fill 2 highball glasses with ice cubes. In a cocktail shaker or large, lidded jar, shake the vodka, lime juice and pineapple juice together with a handful of ice cubes. Strain into the highball glasses.
  • Slowly add the grenadine and stand for a minute or so while the grenadine settles into a pink layer at the base of each glass. Add a slice of pineapple to each drink before serving.

Tweet that to Silva and he'll copy in Mendy saying they look like something he should be serving.
