The fans really are throwing everything into the Brands will sort it bandwagon arnt they.

Not sure where they get the idea h will transform them from.

Loads turning on Silva and Pickford.

Funny thing is most of the summer budget will need to be spent on just keeping the squad they have together as neither Gomes or Zouma are their players. Unless they sell Gueye and Richarlson they wont be adding 5 or 6 quality players to the squad.

Whats the betting on Moyes being back there soon

ANother disaster of a poointment from the board and needing to keep them happy

Moyes plus loads of stadium news

When private investors look at the proposal, they'll all be running for the door. There is absolutely no way Everton will be able to make the money needed to even keep up the interest they'll have to pay in the long run.

Ghost project. The Moshiah is already shitting his pants over not getting a free stadium. Investing quite alot of his money already with a interest free loan. They are fucked and will go the way of Aston Villa if they don't get lucky and get bought by an oil baron.

If you were an oil baron looking to buy a club outside the top 6, you'd look at West Ham and Newcastle and probably quite a few others before you remember that Everton exist.

I'm really fucking board at work obviously

I'd like to see Arteta manage us one day, but I'm in the Bieslaaa camp at the moment. Hopefully Leeds don't come up and we can get him in the Summer!

id like to see arteta in, since the war every trophy we have won was managed by an ex player,

All 8 of them

74 years and 8 trophies

To be fair it was 8 in 50 years 24 years back

Marco silva has been charged by the fa for improper conduct. Improper conduct as in pretending to be a premier league manager?

More from the fucking FA conspiracy, wouldn't have charged Klopp

Santo Domingo is a comedy genius to be fair. We only score goals because opponents are too scared of giving away penalties. Must have missed Keita's nailed on shout in the Leicester game or Salah getting crunched on the weekend before Firmino scored.

The football establishment want a titghtly contested title race that is ultimately won by one of Liverpool or United. It’s only been Liverpool’s own inadequacy that have stopped them taking advantage of this in the past. In 13/14 and this season they are benefitting from the costant threat of a soft penalty being awarded any time they get in the box. Teams have wised up to it now as opposed to earlier in the season but it still means Salah and Mane know they can get into the box and are not going to be receiving touch tight attention or decisive tackles.

Zidane is not proven in the Premier League. He has struggled at times in Madrid (in La Liga play) and would be nearly as much a shot in the dark as Arteta.

He didn't want to go back to RM but he heard Everton were very interested in him.

Brands in the Echo saying they won't be spending big on a striker in the summer, cos they've got what they need already and namechecks Richarlison, Calvert lewin and Lookman. FUCKING HELL. They are a "very very lucky club" to have those three, he says.

(What happened to their Fab Four? Well if you've forgotten it was Tosun, Rooney, Sigurdson and Lewin. Truly Fab.)

Another story saying Zouma is unlikely to be bought in the summer.

Sights just being lowered, gradually.

Some of the Blues are pointing out that’s an old comment from Brands but believe it’s been a sanctioned re-release by the club to drive the point home.

Everton have to shift some dead rubber before they can think about any purchases. Currently, the list looks like this:

Mirallas
McCarthy
Bolasie
Martina
Vlasic
Sandro
Niasse
Besic
Pennington
Schneiderlin
Keane
Walcott
Tosun

Gueye and Lookman probably want out, but the rest are sitting pretty on contracts and in the case of Sandro and Tosun are rumoured to be on massive wages they haven’t a hope in hell of getting elsewhere.

Add they’re still paying off Koeman and Allardyce, will have only just finished paying off Bobby Brownshoes, and have to pay Watford compo. It’s all looking a bit sticky for our Lionhearts.

Have we not got an "esk" equivalent to run the rule over their finances with a fine tooth comb, given the level of concern on here for our senior neighbours?

I'm deeply worried for the orcs

Haha, Was just wondering the same thing

So we get awarded 1 more penalty than Everton have, and it's all a redshite conspiracy.

I genuinely thought they'd sold half of those players...

Edit: Who the hell is Pennington?
