It's 2019 and Everton are still shit.

I am from the future, 2120 and Everton are still seriously shite (we still say that and Ye Ma!) apparently this year  they are going to be getting a new ground next to the space port close to the Mayor Anderson FatFuckFood Museum that was built at Bramley docks to commemorate his passing in 2022.  There are rumours that they are being secretly sponsored by a group or Extra Terrestrials from the RedShite Planet. Very soon Liverpool's 27 trillion Supporters across the known Galaxy will have their collective heads drop off in response.

Not to worry they will have to satisfy themselves with the 75 Premier leagues 18 European and 6 Galactic trophys they have 'luckily acquired' in the last 100 years. Unfortunately for the Blue Shite In space you cannot hear a cuckoo clock.

After the world cup they were all saying he's one of the best keepers in the world.

Not any more. The last three pages of the Pickford thread has s few surprising stats, especially to find out his goal comceded ratio is worse than Steckelenburg’s.

Imagine a front 4 with Bernard playing centrally behind a new striker, Richarlison on the left and a new RW.

Add a new back 5 and a pair of midfielders and they might have the start of something there

You know what bugs me the most? The dizzying amount of money we've spent in the last couple seasons on wasters who are pure gash. You can almost make a XI of them, and it's grim (fees taken from Transfermarkt).

Tosun (£22m) - - - - - - Niasse (£18m)

Bolasie (£29m) - - - - - - - Schneiderlin (£23m) - - - - - - - - Klaassen (£27m) - - - - - - - Walcott (£22m)

?? - - - - - - - - Funes Mori (£13m) - - - - - - Williams (£14m) - - - - - - ??

??

That group came at a grand total of around £168m, and I suspect no-one would describe them as "value for money".

I reckon our very own Gimp XI could give them a decent game. And they only cost a membership fee

The Cup starts this weekend. The gap between us and The Ev is 27 points. And we got a game in hand. SteveO thought they could be above us this weekend.

Start of a crucial month. Despite some of them still pretending to think they have a chance they're all looking behind them. If they lose to us then i think their confidence will just melt.

Long trip to Bournemouth Who gave citeh a good game, fatigue sapping game against napoli, then United who they always struggle against, tricky game under the lights against Wolves, the FSW baggage that comes with the barcodes and then Arsenal who can break their lines with ease.
We could be ahead of by the time the Cup starts.

City should win on Thursday then after that they have a far easier January than the RS.

They could well be top again in a months time.
