I was reading it the other day and there's a theory on there that ex-LFC players are over-represented in the media because cocaine use is rife in the media, and of course, as you know if you've ever spoken to any Everton taxi drivers, our players are all bad cokeheads.

Newcastle being valued at 300m doesn't help you out as much as you think.

They're 140m in debt and with their clueless manager they're likely to go down again. Rafas second relegation in 2.2 years could be catastrophic for them given their astronomical wage bill.

So higher debt, worse stadium, worse players, probably relegation and still looking for 300m.

Everton with the best stadium in world football, the 4th grace right next to the newly blue Liver Building, best train I g facilities in the country, international players from 1-11, champions league football....£1bn seems a bargain.

Given the popularity of cocaine usage within the media which team of players were most likely to have been socialising, and becoming friends with, journos and TV staff a few years back? Those journos and staff have now climbed the ladder to being in charge at the various media companies and may well be sorting their old mates out with easy work.

Just a theory though.

The Newcastle debt is all owed to Ashley, he supposedly wants 400 million or so which includes the debt so it would debt free at that point.

 

Their worse stadium actually exists unlike Evertons, side note a friend of mine who is a Newcastle supporter went to Goodison a few years ago as it was one of the few grounds he had never been to, comments along the lines of shit hole and "have they not heard of Bradford" ensued. The guy used to live in Blyth so its not like he doesn't know a shit hole when he sees one. 

 

Imagine how good Newcastle could be after being bought, given money to spend and replacing a manager who has won La Liga, the European Cup, the UEFA Cup and some domestic cups with someone who isn't clueless.
