No idea where they are getting 500m from. Plus even if it does get built they will be paying it off for 45 years.

Costs will double after brexit and it will not be financially viable, it will be the fault of the RS (to which they will fail to see the irony in the fact we are all Norwegians) as they all voted leave because we were scared our heads would fall off when they built their 80k new stadium before winning the intergalactic league and cup double.

Moshiri probably can't believe his luck at how gullible their fan base is that he can feed them little bits of misinformation every now and again and they stop hassling him and start goading us.

2023 at the earliest according to reports today , it's not happening is it ?

I didn't really read the recent IPCC report thoroughly.  Did it recommend the 2020s as a goĺden opportunity to start major construction projects on storm-prone coasts?

I blame the RS and all their plane loads of Irish and Norwegians.

Just seen some sad cunt Evertonian on Facebook state that Mo Salah wasn't the fastest player in Anfield history to reach 50 goals.

Apparently when Everton played at Anfield they had a player who scored 50 goals in 46 games in 1891.

When games finished 16-15 and they played on worse pitches than at Jericho Lane, they all smoked pipes and had Salvador Dali moustaches.

But if yer know yer histry.....

Salah hasn't scored 50 goals at Anfield either so it's Liverpool history rather than Anfield history.  To be fair, if there's one thing they are experts in it's Liverpool

Nailed on the council will loan them the money for the full build with the extra £7m promised for the original 50% conveniently forgotten about.

Yet another reason to get Anderson out of office  - or, at least, support those Labour Councillors who are opposed to his dictatorship.

Progress update.

Steve Rotheram hopes they will have planning permission by 2020.  Meanwhile, Everton are "still working on the funding plan."  And design work, we are told, is "going on behind the scenes".

It's not happening, is it.

Just come on here to post that

Unbelievable - but it is just thst kind of shite which they will buy into totally whilst nothing significant actually happens.....it is ok though because they can claim the moral high ground over us.

Yes, because applying to host concerts at a non-existent venue by the docks on a site with few access routes and zero residential areas throws up the same problems as applying to host concerts at an existing venue in a heavily built-up residential area with existing traffic management issues. There are no people there for them to aggravate with such an application. Highly ironic for an organisation that dubs itself "The People's Club".

I just love the fact that they refer to the start of a public consultation as "a major step".

And before anyone has time to say "no it isn't" they start shitting on about Liverpool.

Seriously, their fans can't be as stupid as the club and the Echo think they are, can they?

Reads like someone from Grand Old Team wrote that rather than the local and allegedly impartial newspaper.

What I don't understand is why they are taking so long to "get it right". The dock is completely deserted and there are only a few small businesses round there. Why do they need to go on this big roadshow and consult virtually everyone?. Virtually every Evertonian knows they need to move and just want them to get on with it.

The main issue would be public transport and road infrastructure, something they would be aware of and would need to speak to the council, Mersey travel and Peel about.
