*Shakes head* Everton again.

These outraged Everton fans aren’t the same people singing that they wanted Emile Heskey to be their slave in the not too distant past by any chance are they?

And ask Les Ferdinand for his opinions on Everton’s support.

If Bobby said anything out of order he will deserve any punishment that comes his way, but this faux outrage from these knobheads over something that is currently unproven, and possibly (probably) completely false, is fucking pathetic.

Wish I could remember who it was* but I definitely recall seeing an interview with a black player in the early 2000s (or possibly very late 90s) where he had no hesitation citing Goodison as the one ground more than any other that he dreaded going because of the level of racist abuse from the fans.

(*Obviously, if anyone had ever said anything like that about Liverpool, the Bloos would have carefully filed every detail of it - probably adding a few of their own embellishments - to be brought out on frequent occasions.  Unfortunately, my memory doesn't work that way, because I'm too busy supporting my own team to obsess about anybody else.)

Pretty sure that was the second time they did it. Im sure they did it first at West Hams ground and in black and white. Might have been the fact we had a black and white telly though.

I'm glad you said that.  I was looking for an older clip and I was surprised to find this one.

Fun fact - Warren Mitchell was both a Socialist and a Spurs fan, so when he got the role of an obnoxious Tory bigot, he decided to make him a West Ham fan just to piss them off.

BBC reporting that Niasse has been told he can leave and super summer signings Sandro and Klassen can go too.

Their top scorers from last season

1.   Lukaku  25 goals     (Gone)

2.   Barkley  5 goals       (Gone)

=3.  Mirallas  4 goals      (Going)

= 3. Coleman 4 goals      (Crocked)

They truly are shite.

There's a fella over on GOT (SteveO) that has started a thread on

'How much would ronko signings be worth today? Here's his thoughts. With players of this calibre, surely they got a chance of winning it this year.

Gueye - £75m

Keane - £60m

Williams - £10m

Rooney - £20m

Klaassen - £35m

Sandro - £18m

Martina - £6m

Schneiderlin - £45m

Lookman - £25m

Pickford - £90m

Basically him and Walsh know what they're doing. The Kones and niasses are consigned to history.

What a time to be alive, what a time to be a blue.

Looks like we might find out what a few of these are worth.

I think it was Les Ferdinand.

That's grim reading, that.

It's just a speculative hypothesis, which I've just pulled out my arse, but I wonder if it took Everton longer than most clubs to shake off the racism because we had welcomed John Barnes - "Everton are white" was, perhaps, motivated as much by their need to define themselves as "Not Liverpool" as much as by any genuine racism.

Remember when Liverpool fans were a horrid, ghastly bunch a few days ago for giving Shearer stick?

Well, Martin Samuel (yeah, I know he's a whopper, but...)has wrote an article saying Holgate should've had action taken against him and, needless to say, it's getting a fair bit of attention from Bloooooooos on Twitter. And, they're not having a calm, sensible debate with him...

Just read that article - he makes a very valid point about something that is ignored

Just read that Samuel article. It seems fairly even handed, so naturally they'll go off on one.

He's criticizing the FA for their handling of violent conduct compared to spitting and racism which, as he rightly points out, is better legislated for. Can't really see why they'd take so much umbrage with it.  Offended by everything etc
