Schneiderlin excelled next to a dedicated holding player at Southampton and he will probably do the same at Everton. A Schneiderlin and Gueye partnership will be very effective.

Schneiderlin seems a good player but the slightly odd thing is that he plays in arguably the only part of the pitch that they are strong, with Barry, Gueye and the Irish lad ( no, not Gibson ) and that Besic still to come back from injury.
