Lovely big poppy. Not ready for last week at Goodison?

I also noticed that they had to have two guys dressed as WWI soldiers rather than the one we had (there might have been a reason but I had the sound off so it didn't have to listen to them singing their dirge)

Honestly if this was the one game of the season where we got absolutely murdered, I'd be okay with it. Koeman didn't put his team in the best position to do well today, and Stklnberg let two cheap goals in early. Hopefully this sends our players a message that you can't coast through games and expect to win.

Our first team squad. Laughable really.

Goalkeepers

Robles - bottom half quality - SELL/GIVE AWAY

Stekelenburg - mid-table quality - SELL/GIVE AWAY

Defenders

Baines - unfortunately finished - SELL

Williams - good but only for this and probably next season, and not top 4/5 quality

Jagielka - a liability nowadays - SELL

Oviedo - bottom half quality - SELL

Coleman - has lost his way massively and showing no real signs of improvement

Funes Mori - a liability - SELL

Holgate - very promising and unfairly shunted from the team

Midfielders

Gibson - waste of space and money - SELL/GIVE AWAY

Barkley - one influential game in five, not good enough

Mirallas - has gone backwards big time - SELL

Lennon - should play more, but still not very good - SELL/GIVE AWAY

Cleverley - waste of space and money - SELL

McCarthy - rubbish - SELL

Gueye - brilliant player

Barry - still very good but his last season with us surely

Besic - waste of space and money - SELL

Davies - not been given a chance

Forwards

Deulofeu - does nothing, might potentially still come good

Koné - waste of space and money - SELL/GIVE AWAY

Lukaku - fantastic player, deserves so much more from us

Bolasie - one influential game in five, like Ross - SELL

Valencia - waste of space and money - SELL/GIVE AWAY

Calvert-Lewin - no idea

The only way this result will be acceptable is if Chelsea beat the rs to the title on goal difference by 5 goals

Why the gnashing of teeth? It's the taking part that counts....

I'm disinclined to gloat over this, as this was pretty much the way most of us rated our squad last season.

(Although I think he's a shifty bastard trying to sell West Ham's player!)

From the inferiority thread:

"You haven't got to look far to realise we have. The conspiracy theories, the media, the refs. It's embarrassing. 'If that was us we wouldn't have got it' , sort of attitude. We certainly have some sort of persecution complex. We're always hard done to. For me, Moyes got it in our heads, lickle old Everton with no money fighting above their weight mentality. And we carry it on to this day."

7 people liked this.  Wonder if they were all Reds too.

From the same thread

This century, we have won one game away from home against a side that finished in the top four come the end of the season. 1 win in 65 matches. The win was against Man City in 2010-2011.
