Thought the last scene (wont say what happened just in-case people haven't watched it yet) was an improvement on the books.

Next week is last episode? Well I'm going to miss Daenerys, the milky-skinned beauty.

More than made up for the break when season 2 hits the air with the last scene though.

Cracking set.

Not gonna read the books, as I quite enjoyed going into it blank and being surprised by the events.

Absolutely gutted I've gotta wait a fucking year for season 2, though.

October and Walking Dead season 2 can't come quick enough.

Was anybody else surprised that Bronn is played by Jerome Flynn. Didn't recognise him at all as the guy from Soldier Soldier or those shite cover duets.

Sibel Kekilli who plays Shae was porn star Dilara in Germany.

Her early on screen roles were a bit different from big budget American TV. See below for link

I don't know how anyone can resist the urge to read the books after watching the TV series. I got started after about the third episode. Great stories, and so hard to put down once you get into them. Though, I have to say, two and a half books in, and I'm starting to worry that there'll never be the kind of pay off that I'm looking for.

And what's going to happen to the TV show, the fifth book comes out soon, after a six year hiatus, so even if the show is still going for the next five or six years, there's little chance George R.R. Martin will have finished the last few books by then.

It can.

Hopefully that'll vastly improve for the second season.

Agree with that. Really dug the first episode, but sadly it got progressively worse after that.

Love me tv shows and that'd ruin that a bit. You get used to having to wait for more.

Fully agree on that one.

That depends, are they going to fuck up the story any more by making changes? Are certain characters still going to be alive by the end of the season? I hope not.

Any of you motherfuckers get the new book today? I ordered it off Amazon and they only despatched it before!

Not yet, I'm only ten chapters into A Clash of Kings, the prolouge was ace, I can see Stannis is going to be my favourite character. Looking forward to it though, finding it hard to stop myself from reading reviews of it though!

Well, I've read every Walking Dead collection published so far, so that isn't an issue for me. Can't wait for Season 2, although I will admit that the end of Season 1 was a bit skew-wiff. Ace, though.

Have just re-read Game Of Thrones after 15 years, and it is a great book and only serves to illustraste what a magnificent job the team behind the TV adaptation have done so far.

Will start on Clash Of Kings tonight, a book I've had for a decade but never read.
