Have you not got the disc that it comes with? It's all on there. If you haven't get them to send you another one.

 

Basically as long as the router is connected to the modem and the modem to the laptop while you set it up then you're good to go. Make sure to make a note of your password as well obviously.

 

Other than that the only thing that I can say that may sound obvious but sometimes isn't to people is, do you have a wireless button on the laptop?
