What car do you drive?

Mercedes C180 Kompressor. Had 79k on when I got, coming up 95k now, mostly motorway, I just love it.

 

Would love an M5 next though, they look bonkers.

I've never thought the beast looks bonkers really. It's a 5 series with extra big wheels, four exhausts, no front fog lamps and some side vents. That is all the visual difference and most people would not know one if it was in your rear view mirror. That was what appealed to me most - the understatement and the hilarious top speed once you get the limiter removed.

I haven't driven it for 2 years, but i just can't sell it.

 

 

nice, Ive had one of them, wasnt a proper RS but had the turbo engine and everything, had all sorts. all the chrome engine bits etc.

 

had a tuned MG metro turbo which was alright, cheap pocket rocket.

 

 

also had a corsa with a 2.5 v6, during my breif boy racer days.

 

nowadays its a shitty citroen taxi.

I wanted to have a more luxurious ride, especially as I have plans for an extended car holiday touring Norway. But seeing how people struggle with parking and the snow, I'm having second thoughts about leaving 4x4. Still looking, and I miss not having a car.

The GT-R is a license loser. My dentist has one and his mate has a murcielago. He says that the GT-R is faster and better to drive than the Lambo. Crazy car for comparatively little cash when you consider the market it is competing in.

They're pretty similar to be honest if you look at the figures:

 

(GTR/Murcielago)

 

0-60: 3.2/3.5

0-100: 8.5/8.3

Standing quarter: 11.6/11.7

 

Pretty impressive though if you consider that the GT-R weighs more and has a 3.8L engine compared to the 6.2L in the Murcielago, although the GT-R is a twin turbo. The Lamborghini has over 100bhp more as well.

 

The GT-R is an engineering marvel and if I owned one, I would never drive it because I'd be too busy wanking.

My car ...2003 Volkswagen Sharan TDI, bought in 2006, it had 43k on the clock when l bought it, it now has 97k. Hopefully will last a few more years yet as l can't really afford to splash on a new car either now or in the foreseeable future. It really is a great car though, bags of low rev torque.
