think Adam, Henderson and Meireles(if he stays) will rotate depending on the opposition/game plan, obviously at least one wide player needed which is likely to be Downing or Mata, would be happy with either but would prefer Mata and think we will be okay on the other side with Henderson,Maxi and Dirk all probably having spells there at times, defence looks pretty strong but obviously we know Aurelio is made off glass so a left back needed, Arbeloa would be my choice but not been mentioned so can't see it and probably be Enrique which is fair enough and Agger is unlikely to be fit all the time so another centre back would be a bonus (if good enough) but not urgent with the other players we have, Suarez, Carroll and Dirk are all very good options up front and offer a good variety but would still like another striker preferably a highly talented young one prepared to be 4th choice and wouldn't cost the world but still quite a lot of shite to shift

He is right though - Kuyt doesn't deserve to start EVERY game. Does he deserve to play up front for a few games? Absolutely. Does he deserve to start a few BIG games on the right or up front? Absolutely. Every game? No fucking chance.

I did say strongest XI as it stands, I think once we get a winger in he won't be but still will have a big part to play and I certainly won't be complaining about that

Kuyt is still a massive player at this level, but some games don't need a Dirk. Much like the Mancs resting or rotating the likes of Park and Giggs. Still massive players for them.

Love Spearing, he's got the edge over Lucas and Henderson for me.

A bench featuring Kuyt, Lucas, Henderson, Downing, Maxi would be one hell of an improvement on last season, but I agree it would be brilliant to have another little genius to pick from.

I think we'll get Downing and a left back and that will be that for the summer. And another cheap/young striker if we sell Ngog. Hopefully Cole, CP, Jones, Jovanovic and Konchesky will go. Maybe one of Aqualani/Miereles. We might hang fire on a centre back. That would be great business for me...

Even if we suddenly had unlimited funds and means and could buy anyone we fancied, i'd still think it wasn't a great idea to introduce too many into the first team. A bit of continuity from last year would be good. Some people's line-ups have five or six new players in them, which seems like madness to me. For that reason Kuyt, Lucas, Johnson, Skrtel, Carragher, Suarez and Gerrard should all be in the line-up when fit...to start with at least...
