Spearing is out , and some reserves will probably be in the 25-man squad, they have a game today , I think the likes of Thomas Ince and John Flanagan will be there, but not on the bench.

 

This can´t be the squad. No Maxi, Kuyt, and Cole ? Would be nice not to play Maxi and Dirk but it´ll never happen.

Seems pretty much sorted like the first XI and the 7 subs. But could it be that Kenny would leave Soto out of match squad for Stoke? He probably doesn´t like him very much, he wasn´t even on the bench in last 2 games for us.

 

And I don´t see Carra coming straight back for this one. Maybe at Stamford but not today.

It is on tv, albeit highlights on MOTD an hour after the whistle.

League Game 25/38: v Stoke (h)

KO: 20:00 GMT/Local 2 February

Host Broadcaster: BBC Sport

TV/Web: Satellites/Streams

 

Hard to know how we'll do tonight, play like the fixture last season and we'll win 4-0, play like we did last week and we could be looking at a repeat of the 08/09 result at home.

 

With this the 4th Wednesday fixture of the past 5, it's been a busy period lately. The next midweek home fixture is on a Thursday at 6pm. But we are hoping for one more Wednesday night game this season, the UEFA Cup Final in mid-May.

Kenny said we wouldn't be changing our style of play just because we now got Carroll instead of Torres. Wheter it's 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 depends on situations in the game (attacking or defending). 4-4-2 is another option, but with pace on the wings I don't fancy this.

 

I think Suarez was brought in to play on either flank with Carroll in the middel and Kuyt on the other side (for now at least). Kuyt and Suarez are able to play on either side.

 

Poulsen played ahead of lucas recently and he suggested that it might have been because he's better in the air? We might need that tonight?

My local has Sky Italia. Should they be able to access Sky Germany too?

 

If it's your local they have a plethora or other channels to choose from. So don't worry.

It's not a moving dish, the only sports channels he has on are Sky Sports Italia.:(

 

The only other 13 degrees channel it is on is Nova, so unless he can access that then it doesn't look good.

Poulsen only started ahead of Lucas when Lucas was injured.
