Mentions to Kuyt who I thought was really good today, particularly in offense with his movement off the ball, and Agger who had an excellent game at centre back.

1. Raul Meireles - Probably the best individual performance all season. Outstanding.

 

2. Fernando Torres - 2 tap ins but his overall play was excellent today.

 

3. Dan Agger - Thank god we have a calm head in defence, it showed today how Everton scored 2 without him last week. We need him back there.

 

The defence overall fell asleep far too often today but lets not take anything away from the result - we needed this today, and we fully deserved it. The problems still exist but the confidence is coming back and so are Carragher and Gerrard. We can build on this today, and with the games coming up - we can easily go on a run now.
