I haven't bought it, but i know his estate have sold out on his legacy by releasing any old tat for money nowadays. I've had a few Jimi bootlegs that were just shit and shouldn't have been released. But there are some gems on them like Room full of mirrors.

Good man, Mook. Was gonna ask why am I missing from the initial Royal Albert Hall video.

Haven't had a listen to a Jimi youtube clip in a while, as I already have most of what's needed at home. But, I just thought I would make a playlist the other day only to find out that all the Hendrix studio versions are gone. Even the San Diego version of Red House (from Hendrix in the west and my favourite version) has been removed. Was properly pissed off, fucking crime that is.

I got talking to someone a couple of weeks back that had watched Hendrix at the Isle of Wight festival. No bullshitter this guy and it was really interesting to hear his recollections . I think Hendrix is top of my list of legends I wish I could have seen

I started out at the top of desolation hill when he opened and I was down the front when he finished, and I still ain't got a clue how I got there.

Rare footage of The Jimi Hendrix Experience at the Albert Hall, February 1969, absolutely magic...

That bit where Mick & Noel kick in at the start of Lover Man: Ooft! JHE at their brilliant best.

'Driving South' off the BBC Sessions double CD has to be their finest moment - and there are many when it comes to their live/ in session work.

Miles Davis said that The Experience sounded like a bunch of hillbillys and that Hendrix was far better off in the Band of Gypsys.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Buddy Miles' drumming and love Mitch (even if he was a little busy for my tastes), the Band of Gypsys album is great though and I think Buddy Miles' should've sang more, great voice.
