I know, had drank a few that's all. It was saturday night though so not beating myself up about it.

Don't take this the wrong way, mate, but are you from anywhere on Merseyside?

Ok, accepted. No more of the 'I don't mind Everton' stuff. Let's put as many as we can past the blueshite, and enjoy it as we do it.

I reckon Torres will put in 4 or 5 goals today.

I often think he could get a hat trick before we play and he could have probably done it loads of times over the last year or so, but it's often been the service that's let him down. Kenny has mentioned our final ball not being good enough though so will hope that he's told the players about this and they pay more attention to it. If they do he could easily get a hat trick providing he's focused enough, which shouldn't be a problem considering who we're playing.

Just noticed some of the clouds have a red tint to them too, first time I've seen that in ages. Will take it as a good omen.

As bad as the season has been, the first of our two glamour home games is here now, and if it doesn't motivate the players, who knows what will?

AGENDA:

League Game 22/38: v everton (h)

KO: 14:00 GMT/Local 16 January

Host Broadcaster: BSKYB

Web: Streams

A repeat of last year's score against the small club will do nicely.

My team is:

----------------Reina-----------

Kelly-----Soto------Agger---Aurelio

----------Lucas----Meireles-------

Johnson--------Cole-----------Maxi

----------------Torres------------

Same but with Skrtel instead of Soto. And to be honest Johnson on the wing is something many of us would like to see, but for some reason just never seems to happen. But if Skrtel can't have a decent game against players like Cahill at home, we should be having a good look at what's wrong, but I think he'll be up for it. I doubt kenny will drop him.

Thankfully Cahill is away at the Asian cup.

That's the team I would pick, but I don't think it's the one we will see unfortunately. Let's be honest, Kuyt will be in there somewhere.

Team will be as expected: Reina - Kelly Skrtel Agger Aurelio - Johnson Meireles Lucas Maxi - Kuyt Nando.

Subs: Gulacsi, Wilson, Soto, Shelvey,Cole,Babel and Ngog.

No Pacheco :(

If that's the lineup then I'll be quite happy with that.

Kuyt needs to step up, but he normally does in big games. Cole could make a difference when people tire so hope to see him on in the second half.

Kuyt always score against Everton, but I have to remember you that this is not official. But 3 journalists that follow Liverpool very close , all had this starting line up posted on their Twitter.

Can't wait to this game, I hope the song Jai Ho - Pussycat Dolls. will be played before the game, we always win when they play it when the players warm up!
