Hodgson was a completely disastrous appointment. At the end of the day, none of us know what kind of person he is really. He might be a "nice guy", he might be a cunt, I don't suppose it really matters anymore. He never understood us and he never understood what it means to be manager of this club so I'm glad he's gone.

Agree. No idea if he was a nice man or a tyrant and i couldn't care less. What i do know is that he was and is a truly appalling football manager who should never have been within a million miles of the job. I lament his arrival and i celebrate his exit.

Thanks? Err for what?

It was the right time for Benitez to go and I happily thanked him and still have massive respect for him. This guy though brought nothing but negative times here and I dont really like the person either. Even his leaving speech had excuses in, it summed him up.

The thing I'm thankful for is that we've sacked one of the countries worst managers and appointed a great man and manager.

Thanks Roy, you should have never been offered the job and I blame the people responsible for this more than I blame you.

I'd say this - minus the "thanks".

I am, though, genuinely gutted that our run of 8 consecutive trophy-winning managers crashed on the rocks of Hodgson's incompetence. But, in that respect, the damage was done the day he was appointed, not the day he was "mutual consented".
