Yeah there's that but on the other hand, he doesn't smile.

I'd be more inclined to sell him if he was smiling whilst we were 9th, with Roy Hodgson as manager.

Its pretty clear already that there are no plans to get rid of Hodgson until the season is over and I think its pretty obvious we wont be signing anyone Hodgson wants in Jan

Just be prepared to not enjoy your football until next season

Basically have come to that conclusion too. Still think we might see one or two transfers in January overseen by Comolli.

But I've depressingly accepted this season is as good as over. It would take a miracle of epic proportions for us to win anything or qualify for the CL. Europa League qualification is the best we can hope for at most.

Liverpool flop Milan Jovanovic allowed to leave Anfield in January sales

Roy Hodgson will begin the reshaping of his Liverpool squad by allowing Milan Jovanovic to leave during the January transfer window.

The Serbian international has underwhelmed during his short stay at Anfield and is a target for German sides Cologne and Hamburg and Italians Genoa.

A move to the Bundesliga appeals to Jovanovic but he does not want to take a cut from his £50,000 per week salary.

He has not been placed on the transfer list but Liverpool would not stand in his way if the right offer came along.

He has not been placed on the transfer list but Liverpool would not stand in his way if the right offer came along.

That would imply somebody getting a pen and paper and actually writing names on it. And since this person knows Jovanovic is NOT on this "list", perhaps he can shed light on who IS on it? But no, as that would very quickly unravel this story as a load of bollocks.

EDIT:

Is there actually such a thing as a "transfer list"? Like ads down the job centre?

Beat me to it!

Quite simply Hodgson cannot be allowed sign or sell players. He is a temporary manager and so these players will be working for him for a maxmum of 5 months. We either stick with what we have for the next 5 months, someone else comes in, or someone else makes the decision 100% on who arrives or goes.

I thought the ruling was you can only play for 2 teams between a 12 month period starting from July 1st.

He has only played for us therefore is able to sign and play for another team in January.

When we tried to sign Heinze he had played for Man United during June/July before moving to Real Madrid and therefore we could not sign him in January as he had already played for Man United and Real Madrid.

We wanted him direct from United, we couldn't get him because they wouldn't sell.

He then went to Madrid.
