There's only so many players that are plausibly available on the last day of the deadline. Torres is the reason we've overpaid for Carroll. Torres is the prick here.

I see your point but as we are loosing a player it seems on the same day as gaining who will be his replacement it just seems to make the deal worse than it is. Its sorta like we are loosing Torres and have to make the most if it and justify his move away with the huge transfer kitty we will have but it seems we are not.

He's good but 35 is too much. We could get Džeko, Tevez, Cavani, Llorente for that kind of money. Pazzini just went to Inter for around 10M-12M and he scored 2 on his debut I really rated him.. But if we sell Torres now (I hope not) we should be in for Turan or Hazard and Llorente. But I think we should just wai till summer get our 50M and bring good, quality players for not such inflated prices.
