That it did. For a neutral it's great that the Aussies have finally got themselves into the series a bit more, though I do still believe England have the better side and the Ashes are theirs to throw away.

 

The Waca pitch is made for Johnson and has offered enough for all the bowlers. If Johnson can carry this form into the remaining two tests then who knows what could happen, but i don't think the track at Melbourne will be so favourable and it could go down to Sydney. Of course this match isn't over yet either. I'd back England to chase anything between 200-220, any more than that and i'd be worried. But with a healthy first innings lead we are going to have to bowl well again to keep in this match as i can't see it going past day 4.

I think the series needed this.

 

Was almost beginning to feel sorry for the Aussies - almost!

 

First time I have seen Johnson bowl like that, he changed the game.
