Given that people post here about tweets by others, do they also tweet about posts here? Also, does twitter allow you to call people cunts?

My post about Carragher's contract extension was buried by Usher and his mates. Too bad. Some people seemed to have missed the point. NESV did not approve his contract. Henry said they were disappointed to find on arrival that ageing players had been given rich, extended contracts. Carragher got his contract two days before NESV became owners. He got it from Purslow for services rendered with respect to Rafa. As I said before its his thirty pieces of silver. He thought - or was told by Purslow - that Rafa would recommend a rolling one year contract. That was not good enough for him.

There is no way Carragher is playing anywhere near as well as three years ago. To suggest he is indicates a devotion to the idea of Carra the heart of Liverpool romanticism, rather than actually watching him labour away on the pitch.

I must be the only one that thinks Carra's individual form has been much improved over the last 8 weeks or so? I think a few games at rightback seems to have been the catalyst for his better form.

You made a name for himself on these boards twisting facts to serves your agenda, but for your own mental sake get your act together and stop kidding yourself, because you become a main victim of your own cheats:)

Jovanovic earns around 50-55 per week according to Serbian press and his own declarings in Serbain tv. Maxi is on 70 grands a week, had to take a pay cut to come here, no signing on a fee apparently. Konchesky deserves a mention, even though he's not Benitez signing. don't you think? Gets more than twice Insua earned, already to blame for 4 goals we conceded, even last year, when Insua was below average and was finding his feet in the league, Konchesky had less successful tackles and interceptions completion. Konchesky managed 4 assists in 3 years, Insua 6 in one year. We wasted 7 million on Konchesky, including his annual salary. It's more than on Aquilani, at least we can recoup some of cash invested in him, while Konchesky signing and Insua departure were utterly pointless.

I would still play Carra at centre back alongside the Greek at the moment, with Kelly at right back. Skrtel has been decent but I'm not sure he has a long term future. Same with Agger. We will need to bring someone else in before long.

Is there anything that certain fuckers won't blame Carragher for? Disgraceful innunendo and smear about a bonafide Liverpool legend. These people need to hang their heads.

Hate to play the scouse card.

But sometimes I can't help but think it's that with SOME section of our fanbase.

What do you mean by that?

Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman and Steven Gerrard were unavailable for comment....

You assume that's a criticism of the players and not supporters?

HIs organization / leadership skills make up for his lack of form imo giving him more leeway than the average player add that he scouse to this and he difficult to drop.

Honestly don't know what you mean with the first sentence but it's irrelevant but if that's what you think fine, my health is fine but thsnks for your concern (;

my point is millions have been wasted on wages in last 2 years on players that contribute nothing, carragher is still our best centre half and is worth his contract.

The figures Ive mentioned for jovanivic and maxi I believe to be true.

What four goals is konchesky at fault for just out of intrest

    • Proof is in the pudding this season the injuries have had their effect and shown fully the limitations in the squad. A crowd, refs not being cunts and a few new players might help. Mental and physical tiredness too after the last few seasons.
    • We really miss that talismanic player who wills the other players to step it up a notch. Salah is great and all but he’s not imposing in the sense Gerrard or Suarez was where the other players would be ashamed and embarrassed not to give it there all. We have Virgil and Hendo but obviously that’s the crux of the issue. I’d swap all three of our forwards for a young Suarez.
    • I think Kloppo’s style is very ambitious. We need all our players to work very hard and do their part. If everybody does and every single player sticks to the game plan, we’re almost unstoppable. But when one or two are out of form, or a new player doesn’t stick to the game plan 100% we’re equally poor. That counter pressing style is great when we force opposition out of options. Then we’ll win the ball high up the field and can immediately use the unbalance to our advantage. If one single player doesn’t do his job, there’ll be a way out for the opp and all we achieve is being more vulnerable with too few people back to defend. If we do succeed with the high pressure, and one player doesn’t commit himself to the immediate attack, but i.e. plays a back pass to keep things controlled, the risky high line was all for nothing. We’ve seen this from Kloppo before. When it works, his teams are the best in the world. When it doesn’t, clueless. In a way it’s either on or it’s not, nothing in between.
    • I wonder why that's all people are doing when we've watched the same game play out for months on end . There essentially is a line on the pitch that moves with play its made up of players.
    • I hear a lot about the loss of Van Dijk and Gomez and Matip impacting on the team.    But for me, Gary, there's two names Liverpool have missed much more this season.   Des Ire and Mo Mentum.
