What happened with Torres and Carra?

Nando was so shocked that Carra was attempting to play the ball to feet, that it put him off his game for about 80 minutes.

Actually on a serious note, right at the beginning it seemed like we were making a concerted effort to keep the ball on the ground. But as Everton kept pressing, we eventually resorted to hoofing it upfield.

There's a message in there somewhere for you Mr. Hodgson...

Carragher isnt the best of form himself...hardly in position to have a go at others however much he was trying the team to play.

None of them are, so your point is moot.

However poor Carra is/was at least he doesn't cry like a fucking girl and look to the ref everytime a player makes a challenge.

They're ALL playing poorly.

To be honest, I don't blame him. Interesting that Carragher will play right-back under Englishmen.

True that. I'm surprised he didn't get stick for refusing to play there under Rafa. I know he's a legend and all that, but no one is bigger than the club.

Anyone know about this Jim Boardman tweet that said Carra wouldnt sign a new deal with us as long "that c***" was managing us. (last year)

Yes they are playing poorly.

Do you suddenly start playing better because Carragher is having a go at you? No you dont. Just irritates

Carra has been doing what he does for years. If a player reacts as Torres' alledgedly did then the writing is on the wall.

It was a minor misunderstanding, Torres saw Carra pass the ball, so he popped outside and up onto the roof, naturally thinking that's where the ball was going to end up.
