Maxi - The tale of two halves. Perfect illustration of who Maxi is. In the first half he was stuck in the same wide midfield/wingback position Roy seems to favour and he looked shackled or anonymous, all he did was get booked. But then in the second half he got involved in short passing moves, always offered an option and created space and opportunities. I do not understand why he was replaced by Jovo.

Raul - Struggled to adapt to the pace and really didn't get the physical nature of the game in the first half, but provided a solid and constant supply during the second half. Our best passer of the ball and the only one seemingly capable of hitting the ball cleanly.

Reina - Did nothing wrong.
