The media gets a lot of stick from football fans but must say the media coverage this week has been absolutely fantastic and helpful. Tariq Panja, Owen Gibson and Dan Roan (and oh ok Bryan Swanson you can have a mention) have been at the scene 24/7 almost and have been great as well as ashlingoc on twitter of the times have done great work. The Guardian Live Blog has been brilliant. So a big thank you to all them, I know it's their job but it has been absolutely great.

Hopefully it will finally put the 'everyone hates us' paranoia Liverpool fans seem to have to bed, people have stepped up for us when they could have easily ruled the other way.

Agreed, it's just a pity that the people who said that they weren't against the club but the previous manager are still being proved right four months after he departed.

Yeah thanks for the information updates. However i wouldn't mind if from now on there wasn't a media frenzy everytime john henry scratches his arse. It's been a very tiring and painful week for all concerned with our club, especially hicks and gillett, ho ho ho ho haha ha ha ha

Proper journos, not like the shite that Sky serve up.

Absolutely. There are many more I haven't mentioned in the OP, David Conn and Paul Kelso at the forefront who have done brilliantly. Hopefully now we can go back to slating the reporters who are unkind to us in the match reports...
