Why does it always seem like like Nick is smoking crack when he posts?

Gus Fucking Poyet. If you're thinking of someone young why not Di Matteo or someone who has at least done ok in management to date?

At the risk of being all knee jerky and flavour of the Month style, this guy is looking fairly impressive in his career so far. Having seen the way his team played at close quarters at Anfield, seeing them win at The Emirates and then taking them to Old Trafford and getting a point playing football and looking for the win has impressed me so far and I think he is one who should be on the list of those being monitored for the long term.

I'm not advocating him for the job right now, but should Hodgson get the push and should Kenny take the job until the end of the season with there then being an assessment of the situation, then we should be monitoring Di Matteo as he has his team well set up and seems to have a good analytical head on him.

Let Kenny have the job until the end of the season, reassess then....

I can see us adding a layer of management, with the introduction of a football director to plan and execute a long term strategy for the club in addition to the manager, who by definition needs to focus more short term.....

I would love Kenny for this position at some point down the road....

If he were to step into such a position next summer, it would not be a big deal if he spends money in the transfer window, as the football director would have a big say anyway.....

If we let Roy buy players we get 4-4-2, defend low, hoof and run footballers, who needs to be shifted back out once a manager who play's attacking football is signed...

The way this is handled will for me be the first indication of what sort of new owners we have.

Very true.

I don't want it dragging on for weeks with leaks in the press every other day humiliating Roy.

They should quietly and discretely talk to Kenny and Pelligrini, decide which of them best suits the approach they would like to take and offer them the job.

That day Roy gets a call into the office, thanked for his contribution to the club but told as new owners they wanted to take the club in a different direction. He is then offered the chance to have a farewell press conference if he so wishes.

the following day the next manager is unveiled and starts the business of sorting out the team straight away.

No fucking about, swift, professional and business like.

Perfect scenario.

We have an ideal opportunity now to get back to some semblance of the Liverpool Way (the club and this forum)it is the perfect time to rid the Club of the last vestiges of an era that should never be forgiven or forgotten which means almost a new start in relation to attitude.

IF it is the intention of the new owners to act quickly then the above is exactly how it should be handled and let's get some dignity back as a club and fans.

IF it was down to be then I would consign Roy to history, not in the same way as the owners, as he is not deserving of that, pay the man what he is entitled to under the terms of his contract, thank him for taking the job under difficult circumstances, offer him the chance to walk away with his head up citing the change of ownership as the reason for the parting of the ways and let's get back to outplaying teams with good players and being the example of how a club should be run.

We don't want Gazillions to spend on players and buy a title, we want to win one by having a good manager, the right man for the job not the biggest name, good players and with everything kept in house. If there is no reason for bleating to the press, then there should be no bleating.

Another thing we should also remember and never forgive for the rest of our days is the SKY (and other elements of the spoken and written press) coverage of the denoument of the ownership saga and how they gave the parasites a vehicle to play the victim card and remember that cunts like Hicks and Murdoch all piss in the same pot and grunts like Myers and White and some of their other despicable employees (like Boulton and Burley on the news) take cuntery and push it way beyond the call of duty, even by that particular broadcasters standards....never, ever give these fuckers a foot in the door again.

We now know who are friends are and we have had it reaffirmed who our enemies are. Never forgive and never forget. Harry fucking Redknapp should be served Dog Shit sandwiches when he comes here with his shithouse team and feel himself lucky, the fucking dodgy cunt.

Henry has made the right noises so far, so cautious optimism tempered with a healthy spoonful from the jar marked 'wont get fooled again'. We now have an army ready to be mobilised again if needs be.

The landscape of then club the and now has changed. The most common dismissal of a good manager during the summer was that we're skint and the owners are cunts that nobody in their right mind would work for.

It remains to be seen what NESV's vision is but I'm afraid to be successful you often have to be ruthless.

It's not ideal.

But a run of results at this stage sees you climb up the table.

He needs time, he deserves time.

The club deserves better.

the fisrt thing that needs to be done is NESV and SOS etc have to sit down and talk. The fans have to explain 'the Liverpool way' to NESV so there is no danger of fuck ups in the future. As you said, we dont do shit through the media, we never talk to certain rags, we keep things in house, and everything the club does is done with dignity and humility in the time honoured tradition. they have to understand that word ,'tradition' means more here than at any other club.

The take over could be the worst thing that could happen to Hodgson.

All the focus as now shifted from Hicks and Gillett and won't side track fans from his woeful start

without a shadow of a doubt. the turmoil was a godsend for Roy. People pay millions for spin doctors to spin up that kind of a decoy.
