Not at all mate. I'm just interested in how people would react and what the future would hold.

Thank fuck for that.

I cant really say much that would cause any effect really.

I dont buy merch or go to games anyway, but Id be far more compelled to come up to Liverpool to do what I could.

Living in Cardiff you kind of feel helpless and being a poor student doesnt help either but we'd have to seriously crank it up mate.

Hit them where it hurts. In their pockets.

Do you know something we dont Steve??

I will and have always took part in protests and direct action. I would be a devastating blow and will change the way i see the club.

I would do nothing else except go to the game as i will not let them force me out. I will go even if we are in the lower divisions ( i know some will disagree with that, and i understand the reasons why ) But i've been going for 30 years.

I can sympathise totally with those who would just stop going at the drop of a hat but I think it would be a more gradual process with me. I have been going regularly since 1988 to home games and to just not have it there anymore would be heartwrenching. I wish I had the willpower and the strength to stop going just like that but I really don't think I could.

It's only a hypothetical question based on a conversation that I had with my dad earlier today.

My passion for the game has rapidly been eroded away in the past 3 years and I think Hicks/Gillett securing refinance would finish me off.

What more direct action could we take? Encourage supporters not to renew season tickets and boycott club merchandise etc?

Certainly, eventually leading to the full boycott of a game.

More extreme measures such as disrupting games i don't think are too far out of the question in the short term.

A gentleman at the SOS EGM mentioned about preventing/delaying the team coach from getting to the stadium and thus postponing a game.

Thanks - I feel the same about my passion for the game as a whole. Its a world away from the game i grew up with. Watching LFC means so much to me, dont thimk i could give it up all together - yet

have very little interest in liverpool at the moment, football in general doesnt interest me at all.

if the yanks get refinancing im done all together, doesnt bare thinking about but i just couldnt feign an interest.

the players feel the same way we do,thats why the heart has gone out of the team.

I stopped buying merchandise a couple years and gave away my season ticket at the same time too. Them two cunts aren't getting my money, but it was for other reasons too. I just don't get the same out of football anymore. It's not the game it was ever since it sold out to Sky and big business. Now it is just an extension of the capitalist machine.

The only consolation I can take is that, just like everything that comes into direct contact with unfettered capitalism, it will create a massive bubble and eventually burst with dire consequences - unless of course the spineless business-loving goverment decides to bail out a whole host of football clubs, just like it did with the banks.

If they do get the refinance then that's it for me I'm out as others have said. it's been a slow process of my love for the game and club being eaten away by all this shit that's surrounded us for the past 3 years.

The biggest regret I'll have by doing this is they haven't just taken away my club that Ive invested a large portion of my life to. but they've taken from me the pleasure of taking my Daughter to her first game. giving her, her football education. and that is why if they do manage to continue is why i'm walking away as I just can't see my child go through this.
