Again, I see what you are saying, but didnt Cecil say in a radio interview that plan A,B,C & D was to sell the club?? There was no mention of a contingency plan.

 

Businesses don't talk publicly about contingency plans. The focus has to be on the main objective, but of course they have to prepare for the worst case.

It will be stupid of anyone to say "oh, by the way, the plans A B C D are all about selling the club and nothing else. But we are also talking with RBS about re-financing just to be on the safe side"

 

It will equally be stupid of them to not think about contingency plans. Hence the words "we have an excellent relationship with RBS".
