Game Thread: v West Brom (h)

After the tough start and trip to Turkey, we finally get a break in the ardous obstacles, with a home banker against the yo-yo club. With G&T set to return, the game provides a good opportunity for them to show us exactly what we've been missing for a while.

While looking for 6 goals as someone else got against them lately, may be asking a lot with one man alone upfront, half would match our return from our last home game against them, and be a decent return from our first 3pm ko of the season. Lets hope the lads at the game are sent home with no complaints from the last home game for a month.

West Brom have a go at least so I am reasonably confident. It's the 'park the bus' teams that worry me.

 

Most of the big boys got a rest tonight so we should be fresh enough for it.

 

Can see them scoring but us winning 3-1.

I don't think we've ever failed to take six points off them, have we? i'd expect us to win this reasonably comfortably.

I dont think we'll see quite the best of Nando but I think we'll see him getting close to being back to his best.

I fully expect him to give West Brom a torrid time, even if hes still not 100%.

I think the bench looks a lot stronger than last season, even if thew first 11 is slightly weaker. i quite like the look of that line up, but i would still like to see babel given a decent run.
