Kenny Huang thread - part 2

Your spot on mate (sadly) no matter what RBS are saying they will continue to take our money until it gets to the point were they can't take a penny more then it will be a fire sale -players will go and whats left over will be put in administration, and possibly years of mediocrity to follow while c&a kick back and enjoy the money they've sucked out of the club and RBS will look at a very profitable "Transaction".

Aye. Once we are destroyed, hopefully it won't come to that, C&A won't give two flying fucks about it from across the Atlantic. RBS will spin some more saying how they tried their best to put pressure on the owners and how everything is C&A's fault. Easy.

The way it is going, I'm really worried we will become an "example" for many years to come, about foreign ownership!

I have always thought there stood a chance of them refinancing mainly because banks are greedy bastards. They have reduced and are continuing to reduce the wage bill, we will not know by how much until the figures come out, but by then it will be too late. Maybe they will use this as leverage for them securing finance.

As Carraislegend says they could easily argue we tried to flog the club etc etc and there were only not serious people coming forward.

if the club did get the refinace i think kenny would have someway let that slip out in his statement about walking from the club.i think the simple answer is he didn't have the money.

Well I don't agree, but that's ok.

I think we need to start holding all those who prop up these cunts sick regime to account, especially when the last lot will reportedly pocket more than the original loan amount within three years.

Sadly, were back to reality. In three years we've always had the power to get rid, we still have it now. Boycott the games, don't buy tickets, as some of those people who prop them up are the 40k each week who attend. Anfield.

Empty stadiums are the only way, Otherwise G n T aren't going anywhere.

Bingo.

That is the ONLY way in my opinion. Sadly can't see it happening though.

If the 2 cunts are going to be allowed to re-finance then all of this must have been a fucking sham.

I dont want to overreact but if they are allowed to refinance, it will kill a lot of the fans off metaphorically speaking. Us fans have reached top level when it comes to standing for much more, if they refinance I can see fans pulling away altogether from the club through the sake of their sanity and watch from a distance.

I know I wouldnt be able to take anymore. I couldnt watch them kill this club the way they have and continue to do so and a think many will feel the same.

I hope to god that Broughton and the rest of the board sort it out. This isnt a game, this is something that people live for and its time that football was what we known for becomes what are in future not this shit.

I hope the Tony B article is incorrect. He is one of my favourite journalists but he has called things wrong recently and that is no fault of his, he is only going on the information given as has the Times but based on how this has panned out at the moment, they have been inaccurate so to speak.

Was Huang ever a credible bidder? Said he had "backers", but then CIC and Franklin Templeton distanced themselves from him. Played everything out in public, apart from who his backers "really" were. His QSL Sports Ltd company has the world's dodgiest website which went down under mysterious circumstances at the time he announced his "bid". I believe QSL's main line of business is in sports investment in China - mainly the second-tier of Chinese basketball. Hardly Liverpool FC. His multi-billionaire business partner Adrien Cheng quit QSL in May. Why? His 15% stake in the Cleveland Cavaliers was a pipedream (yet media sources still quote it as true) Apparently he would never sign a confidentiality agreement with the club either. One has to wonder why?

I'd rather have a true and proper owner than somebody lacking the credentials who has played the whole thing out in public, despite the (probable/definite) objections of the board. Seemed too much spin and not enough substance to me.

Already am mate, but I can understand why season ticket holders would not want to given they may never have one again.

Sadly our love of football is what these cunts ability to squeeze money out of us is predicated on.

I fail to understand why some think protesting against the parasitical banks who are feeding off us via Hicks and Gillett should not happen, based on the fact that they might tell us a story though. Someone care to explain that to me in a way that might make sense?

Who the fuck is Simon Pickett then?

Southampton, May 2008 – The Royal Bank of Scotland ("RBS") has appointed Robin Barnes, Regional Director of Corporate Banking in the South East, overseeing the Solent division.

As Regional Director Robin will be heading up a team of more than 60 comprising RBS's Solent and Gatwick Corporate Banking operations.

Reporting into Robin is Simon Pickett, Head of Corporate Banking Solent who will continue to lead the local team. It benefits from a broad range of specialist teams including property and Corporate and Structured Finance, which specialises in leveraged finance transactions. Who the fuck is Simon Pickett then?

Simon Pickett started life as a George Formby tribute act at the Blackpool Tower. Later he introduced his sons to his act and gave them the name Northwest Backers. They employed washing board, tin whistle and an antique car horn among other instruments. Simon is a non-practising atheist.
