but even Stronts agrees that the bible is a book of fairy stories. And he's Jewish. And why are you writing in that ridiculous Fronch accent?

Unless 'Stronts' is a person of great wealth , influence and power, it doesn't matter what he thinks.

There are many idiots ib high places who believe wholeheartedly that not only the Jews are chosen as 'special' but ALL the original tribes of the original Israel.

British Israelism and American Israelism beliefs have been debunked as non-factual, BUT nobody bothered to tell the adherents.

The support afforded Israel in its quest for hlory, goes beyond all rationalism.

* FACTS * Did you know, that in the the past 26 days of the Israeli operation "protective edge" on Gaza the Israeli military :

1- Killed 1680 Palestinians, over 1100 of them are civilians

2- Killed 330 Palestinian children

3- killed 12 Palestinian journalists

4- killed 8 Palestinian paramedics

5- Destroyed 9000 homes

6- Destroyed 60 mosques

7- Destroyed 10 schools

8- Destroyed 5 UN facilities

9- Made over 100,000 Palestinians homeless

10- Terrorized 1.8 million Palestinians

11- Targeted Gaza's only power plant, leaving Gaza residents with 2 hours of electricity a day.

And there is people in this world who call such actions "self-defense" but not "terrorism" !

And did you know the Palestinian Resistance groups :

1- Killed over 50 Israeli occupation soldiers.

2- killed 3 "Israeli" civilians.

3- Slightly damaged dozen "Israeli" homes.

And there is people in this world who call such actions "terrorism" but not "self-defense"

hilarious

The Gazan ‘miracle baby’ who was saved from her killed mother’s womb has died in an incubator in a hospital, suffering from power shortages inflicted by Israeli strikes. Hospitals now hope that a brief truce will ease the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

Reading that could sober a man up after a bucket full of spirits.

Yes, I can already see that your judgment is lacking.

I'm asking someone who is asserting that what is happening in Gaza constitutes genocide whether they consider other, much larger events in which civilian lives have been lost to be genocide too.

This is how discussions develop, quite happily too without the forum police sticking their oar in to make sure nobody talks about absolutely anything else except Gaza.

I'd call it the deliberate mass killing of people from one nation or race so, yes, you could call it genocide if you so desired.

It was definitely terrorism and collective punishment but, as I've stated before, the morality of each case can be very different.

Stopping the Nazis and slaughtering people you are illegally occupying, with no defence, of infinitely less power, and who you have walled into a refugee camp is not morally equivalent. It would be intellectual and moral cowardice to try and do so.

Size is not a prerequisite for genocide. Sure there have been events where many more people have lost their lives compared to this conflict. Typically though the opportunity to escape or get away and look for assistance from other countries has been available in those instances. The people in Gaza don't have that luxury. They are pegged in on all sides and are being pummelled by one of the most advanced armies on earth.

Physical, biological and cultural genocide is happening in Gaza. And the only people saying otherwise are the perpetrators of this crime.
