Just seen him on LFC.TV and the pics where taken a few days ago.

So it wasn't just me that saw that?

They were showing Lucozade Sports Scientists doing tests, putting monitors on players this week & I cried out to the Mrs "That's Aurellio"? She was none the wiser!

He's obviously training with us.

A desperate act by the club if true.

The reason we had to endure a woefully out of form Insua for most of last season was because of Aurelio`s persistent injury problems.

The fact we won`t have to pay him when he`s inevitably injured again won`t help us when we`ve got no left back to call on.

He was released for a reason. He was injured when we signed him, injured most of the time he was here and injured when we released him. And we bring him back? Madness.

We didn't release him, we offered him a contract he rejected if I remember correctly.

This would be good news.

He knows the club and the league so there's no adjustment period. Hopefully he's taken a bit of a paycut, or perhaps his bonuses now revolve around his fitness.

Much better than having to sign 2 brand new left-backs.

If he stays fit (a big 'if' I suppose), he's better than any of the fullbacks we've been heavily linked with buying.

And he's free.
