Nope, it's not a commonly seen brand. I love Brugal though, the Anejo and 1888 editions are splendid. About 12 years ago my sister-in-law brought me a small bottle of a limited edition back from the Brugal distillery in the Dominican. Best rum I've ever tasted.

Lots of Canadians head to Dominican Republic and its pretty much considered bad form not to bring back some Brugal.

I'm not a big rum drinker but have a co-worker who loves his rum and when we go out he'll often pick out a rum and we drink it neat and I find it quite good- they are upscale ones like 7 yrs + so they have a smoothness.

Got completely smashed on holidays about 20 years ago on lime diaqries or however you spell it; pretty sure I had temporary type 2 diabetes for a few days after. Sun stroke as well. Mate I was with looked like a lobster.

I’ve been drinking Kraken with ginger beer. It’s good, but gives me a bad spicy stomach the day after.

Also, it has to be ginger beer as it is a huge letdown with ginger ale.

D&G ginger beer?

I'm 40 now i feel like I should lay off the WKD blue and have a decanter of something on my sideboard where I could pour a glass in the evening, sit back and swirl the glass, clink the ice, contemplate the day in a dim lit room, if I weren't a former smoker light a cigar and tell my missus she's looking a little chunky on the hips.

I dont like whisky.
