About time too.

Good old Daily Hate, what will they think of accusing Muslims of next? One crank speaks out of turn, and it's there for all the world to see. I think the KKK should start becoming the mouthpiece of the Christian church. Just to see how they like it.

It takes a few extra clicks to post the article. Honestly.

'Sinful' Manchester United shirts encourage devil worship so don't wear them warn Muslim clerics

By SPORTSMAIL REPORTER

Muslim Manchester United fans have been told they must not wear team shirts that bear the club crest because it glorifies the devil.

The warning has come from Malaysian clerics who have declared the club shirts un-Islamic - along with those of Brazil, Portugal, Barcelona, Serbia and Norway, all of which carry images of the cross on their team emblems.

The Red Devils have a huge following in the far east and shirt sales are huge but this has not impressed the conservative religious scholars who want them banned.

'This is very dangerous. As a Muslim, we should not worship the symbols of other religions or the devils,' said Nooh Gadot, an Islamic cleric from Johor state.

He added: 'Even if it is a gift, we should decline it. It is even more sinful when people realise this is wrong and still buy these jerseys to wear.'

Although no fatwa - a religious edict - will be issued against the shirts, Noor insisted those Muslims wearing one ' should repent, repent immediately.'

His view was echoed by another leading cleric, Harussani Zakaria, from northern Perak state who agreed devils should be shunned, not celebrated.

'Yes of course in Islam we don't allow people to wear this sort of thing,' he said.

'Devils are our enemies, why would you put their picture on you and wear it? You are only promoting the devil.'

What's even better are the comments:

I hope everyone in the UK goes out and buys a Man U shirt and wears it every day.

Trust me, there's hardly going to be anyone in Malaysia taking any notice of these calls for a boycott, and even less in support of it. They're massive over there as I had the all-too unfortunate experience of encountering when the jammy bastards beat us on penalties in KL in November (Cole was still a cunt - him and Hutchinson had to be seperated).

Does anyone in Malaysia buy genuine merchandise anyway?

No. There's loads of stalls in Petaling Street alone where all the big teams' merchandise can be bought for a fiver.
