Few observations after watching that:

-Degen is still shite,

-Ayala was solid at the back along with Kelly,

- Gulasci looked good when coming out for the ball,

- Shelvey looked comfortable on the ball and always wanted it which shows he has confidence.

- Amoo looked good at running at the full backs and seemed to have a bit of skill about him

Apart from that the game was pretty dull.

Agree with that.

I also thought Aquilani was poor overall, bar the odd nice touch and Ngog did well with the relatively poor service he received.

Pretty much spot on, wasn't expecting much from the game but it was quite awful to watch for periods.

Shelvey looks comfortable on the ball, seems to have a presence... I predict good things if we can get him on the bench this year.

I agree mate. Great to get a look at the guy who has massive potential.

Has anyone thought of having penalty shoot outs at the end of drawn friendlies ? Would give players a chance for practice, and a result for the fans. Just a thought...

I must be missing something with Ayala because I don't think he's very good at all.

Far from the finished article... But the improvement over the last year has been astonishing. That being said, when I first saw him for the reserve he was terrible.

Hopefully he won't, he's shit.

Think that's way harsh. Worked bloody hard for the team last night, never stopped running and made interceptions and put in some good tackles. Kept possession well also, by and large. Doesn't look the finished article but has a good work ethic and has definitely improved positionally. Looked more assured on the pitch than a lot last night, I thought.
