I thought he was terrible I've never seen a defender be beat so often. Guess we all see different things. Seemed a decent enough lad hope he does well.

He is fuckin shite, decent going forward, piss poor at defending.

Fat and shit.

He was a footballer that should never have played for Liverpool. Ever.

He's just one of a number of fucking awful left backs we've had over the past twenty years, though.

Well done for missing the point enormously.

Whether he was shite or good, the fact that Purslow single handedly was getting rid of our players is a scary thought.

Merely commented on the player not on how or why we sold him. I couldn't give a fuck what's done has been done and insua certainly isn't a player I'm going to pine over.

Well Purslow's a hero on here, and it was only foreigners he was bombing out the club so that's okay. We needed to be more English again.

So you rate him as much as you rate Enrique, Code?

Nah they are defenders and even if Enrique is piss poor going forward he is a decent/good defender and that is pretty much the point when you play at the back. If you can add something going forward its a bonus though.

I was only winding you up Code as you said something similar when describing Enrique the other day.

Not a bad point! At least Insua had youth on his side, i'll be keeping an eye on him I think there's £20 at stake that he makes it at a top club.

Enrique is solid, and Robinson is going to be ace, so I'm not really arsed about Insua leaving. He was a young player overplayed because Aurelio is made of Wotsits and Dossena is made of Cannelloni. He had to learn very quickly, and predictably didn't. A little like Henderson I guess, if possibly in a position its trickier to be so anonymous. Its not Henderson's fault he's playing every week.

But yeah, the main point is that a spastic helped to appoint a spastic, and between them, they made the decisions of a super spastic.

Paul fucking Konchesky.

Its quite ironic that hes just scored in the semi final of a European competition while our current left back has been dropped and replaced by one of our first choice centre halves.

If we'd been able to get a senior left back in and have Insua as understudy he would be a very useful leftback today, still might be but I don't watch Sporting.

He's in the semi final of the UEFA cup, what is Paul Konchesky doing right now? Oh and he's still only 23.

We did have a senior left back that season though, he just couldnt stay fit.

Yes, that's why I said what I said.

If Flannagan played as many games as Insua his confidence would be completely shot by now. I like Flannagan but being a young lad is prone to mistakes.

Too much, too soon. When Insua was used sparingly he was great for us. Anything else is the usual anti-Rafa noise.
