I have no time for Glastonbury this year, or Coldplay ever, but apparently they've got Michael J. Fox out playing with them.

That's pretty cool

Just flicked it on and caught the end of it.

The poor bloke looked to be terribly affected with his Parkinson’s.

Peggy Gou set is decent. Better than Coldplay anyway.

Not watching but she’s decent her

The Vaccines set was decent. Could never understand how they weren't more popular.

Guitar music isn’t popular enough in the mainstream these days.

The problem for the vaccines and the loads of identikit bands who were around and formed around the same time as them is that they came at a time when guitar driven 'indie' had fallen out of favour in the mainstream and pejorative terms like 'land fill indie' were coined, and they were written off as poor mans the strokes and other bands who proceeded them in the boom period for the genre and 'land fill indie' became a tag they could never really shake.

While I agree with your sentiment a little bit… the content on iPlayer is brilliant, I have found stuff to watch for 2 whole nights and haven’t been bored for a single second.

There’s plenty out there for everyone if you swerve the Main stage.

That's music. Or it should be. For example I saw Little Simz on Hollies I think and now

Have they put everything on there? I had a quick flick earlier when the rain stopped the footy, but it seemed mostly just the pyramid stage stuff was on there.

Loads on there mate. Couldn’t tell you if it’s full sets but there’s plenty to keep you away from what you don’t want to see.

I got in from work at 7 and I’ve not watched any shit that I don’t want to…

Ahhhhh shit it’s 4am and I should deffo step away from this beer and get Mrs TB in bed.

Same for The Foals and The Cribs. Just came at the wrong time. Decent bands

Best gig I've ever been to was Kasabian in Ibiza in 2006.

Kasabian didn't play Ibiza in 2006.

They've never played Ibiza.

And you didn't go to a gig in Ibiza in 2006.

You didn't go to Ibiza in 2006.

You've never been to Ibiza.

(I reckon if I repeated this enough times, Mega, you'd actually believe me.)

I arrived at an airport in Malaysia as a K-pop band were arriving too.  Thousands of kids sitting politely in rows with banners and dressed in some kind of fashion uniform. The band arrived and they went fucking nuts.

That's a fantastic story. Please tell me more.

Ha ha.  Is this going to be a regular thing?  You following me around the forum, I mean you don’t like me so why do it?

I watched that Kiwanuka set as promised - it was OK, not sure it is something I would rush back to, but was alright...

Slim pickings again for me today.

Kim Gordon is a must see for me.

Pillow Queens, Alvvays and Blondshell maybe too.

If you like a bit of shoegaze but on the more poppy side of it there is a young band called NewDad playing woodsies this afternoon - I have been listening to them a fair bit recently - very decent IMO.

Main stage pretty much barren for me today.

Glastonbury isn’t really something I pay much attention to, but on the basis of this thread watched some LCD and The Mary Wallopers on iPlayer and enjoyed both.

Currently watching that Seasick Steve.

Baxter Dury to Kim Gordon. Rest of the day would be hoping to stumble across something decent I don't know. Apart from PJ Harvey I doubt I'd have even gone to the Pyramid
