Cameron: "Cuts will change our way of life"

Cameron didn't get Clarkson a job at the BBC.  And neither did the Queen get Balding a job.  These are presenters, not BBC top brass. I would imagine Clarkson doesn't even work directly for the BBC.  The BBC top brass by it's nature is not going to be swarming with Trotskyists.  It is not a revolutionary organisation.  There are people in relatively senior positions who have a socialist or social democrat worldview.  I don't know what you expect from it.  Despite Dennis's confused outburst, it is definitely the least objectionable broadcaster in this country, and overall is the highest quality multi platform communicator in the world.

Do you honestly think Clare Balding would have got a job presenting on the BBC without her connections? Or if she was a stable girl on six quid an hour?

Doesn't even work particularly well when you say it out loud, to be honest.

If you do a South African accent the first bit is okay.

And you just have to make everything so complicated, d'you?

First one to get yamulka into a pun wins Natalie Portman. First person to combine yamulka and Gaza in a pun wins Natalie Portmanteau.

Baldings family seat, on her grandmothers side is Knowsley Hall. The earl of Derby. They have strong links to the Conservative party and have been described as the single most important family in the Conservative party history. The other side of her family are another load of tory bluebloods who are just as bad.

Who knows?  Clare Balding is good at her job, I think it's safe to say.  Would she have got the job if she was shite?  No.  If she was a stable girl at six quid an hour she may not have had anything interesting to say. Who knows?  Did this stable girl pitch up at the BBC to apply? Did one of her owners, who may well be on speaking terms with someone at the BBC, put her forward?

Plenty of people in this world suffer from paucity of opportunity.  Just as many suffer from paucity of ambition.   So I guess we won't know.

And?  Not everyone who gets a job with the BBC is 'privileged'.

I think I'd be more interested in what a stable girl on six quid an hour has to say than Clair Balding. The stable girl might be able to point me to a few winners.

The response was to your immediate inference towards myself.  I think it's fair to say I can hold my own mentally and when it comes to desconstructing the many facets and faces of the media thanks Dennis, but you crack on with denigrating anyone who doesn't immediately agree with all aspects of your Wolfie Smith persona.

Radio 4 was one of the specific things being discussed, it wasn't any argument at all, it was a simple statement relating to comments on that station.  If you can't see why ITV may be more damaging to your own hopes for a future revolution, the hordes of like, orange, like, mush-brained, like easily sated, like quasi-American teenagers, like fixated on and distracted by meaningless bollocks with, like, the battle for, like, hearts and minds, like, long since won, then I would say we just have very different views, and I'll leave you to yours.  I hope the superficial oompah-lumpa army are of great use speaking truth to power alongside you when you all rise up as one.

I suspect your ever-present desire to show everyone how much more discerning and perceptive than everyone else on the forum you are may lead to these flights of fancy in the middle of a fairly simple linear conversation.

Indeed I do love a bit of fiddling.  Sorry it's caused you to be so maladjusted and bitter, but if it's any consolation I loved it.

I'll be sure to look up wolfie as never even heard of him, or bitch, might be a lady.

Radio 4 is the most elitist station going, much as I enjoy it, or rather certain programs but listen to it, as I have often done throughout and it stinks of cambridge and oxford toilet cubicles and the public is the nigerian towel holder.

Im only saying you should look at the evidence.

ITV I dont watch their adverts so Im not paying for it directly and its obvious what it is, likewise fox, the bbc is a fox is sheep's clothing, that is the point and when people, such as yourself and many, many extremely intelligent people, people more intelligent than me all line up to defend it as somehow 'different' from the rest, this is my point, most of the rest of your rantage is not relevant, regardless of my oompah lumpa revolution of the little peoples republik of wonkaland as you took the time to put it.

I suspect your further suspicions of me are also incorrect, leading to your distraction assertion dissertation against me and mine, nay Im tryna show the truth here.

If youd rather have a simple conversation you should fuck off back to rawk, as Im here for rigour and debate and getting to the truth no time for misconceptions except for correction and the GF is kinda of a correctional facility, we just have to weed out people like yourself who say a lot without saying any shit at all.

Im sorry if my push for it is disconcerting to you who'd rather not pull the rug back and talk about whatever it is you talk about that seems such extreme viewpoints backed up by credible arguments are 'flights of fancy', no I dont think its fair to say you can hold your own, maybe superficially with superficial people but theres a higher standard out there for people who care.

In terms of a revolution, its never gonna happen if people dont care, you dont, thats why you dont want to discuss it. I do. Ive not desire to show how discerning I am, thats a given until I see otherwise, and I do like to find people better in that regard than me as I learn from them, as I do people who are not better in that regard, its just the point of trying to push, its nothing to be ashamed about trying to make the world a better place for others and myself, even in the face of people like you who want to attack people who have that fundamental idea. Forgive me if I denigrate and attack you for it you worthless waste of life peice of shit, if I ever got lauded on here Id be doing sometin wrong whereas you would get a stiffy. Im actively trying to be unpopular and stay unpopular, where you figure Im trying to impress these whores, Im not, its lonely out here, and I only attack the popular one and the ones who strive for that popularity, never the easy target and now I must attack you more vigorously as you will have increased your popularity by standing up to me chest! Its important to establish unpopularity as to remove any bias, deliberate or absorbed.

I am maladjusted, Ive deliberately infused this characteristic as Im a people person and we must challenge ourselves to go beyond what we've been given or learned.

I am bitter also, not for myselfs but, say in this example, the NHS nurses the BBC has attacked, the victims in general, Im bitter about them, none of these issues affect me, I could quite happily sit back, rake it in and not give a fuck I am quite psychotic so its another push away from the centre for me, none of this comes natural.

Anything else just ask.

it's not like the NHS privatisation doesn't get discussed on a weekly basis on various political discussions.  Oh no.

You should know better, point me to any discussion and we'll discuss it.

I would think for any discussion you would need pretty safe right biased people and most importantly of all, and the bbc does this with a level of mastery the pravda would be proud of, framing the terms of debate, as in asking a question like 'Does the crisis in the NHS mean it requires more privatisation' to draw people in the say yes or no, forgetting to address the terms that there is even a crisis in the NHS rather than a manufactured one put as statement by the BBC to push the agenda. Or another example debates on where there should be cuts in public spending, no room for anyone to ask if we should cut public spending. Thats the type of shit the BBC does, cloak and dagger. Once you spot it you see it in 99.9% of their output.

What happend when some of them stood upto the elites going against the grain over Iraq propaganda?

Man dead, top man removed from the job, paxman attacking the chemicals inspectors blix and them calling them apologists for Saddam and a lovely war, a lovely war the BBC pushes a death toll of 30, 000 iraqis for the whole duration of with a straight face.

Its as conservative as they get, theres a lot of inspiration from working at the bbc credited by Orwell for the writing of 1984,
