Spurs surely can't be this bad in the second half, I really hope that missed pen doesn't come back to haunt Sunderland.

Agree with that, I'm afraid Bent's penalty miss could prove crucial. Typical gameturner that one. On the other hand, they were totally dominated in the 1st half!

IF, and I do mean IF, it stays the way it is we MUST beat Birmingham tomorrow. Great opportunity to really put some pressure on Spurs, especially, with the games they've got coming up. Hopeully Burnley can produce some magic for us against City as well. Would be nice for Bolton to come back to just keep villa a few points back.

And what a shit pen it was. Perfect height for the keeper.

We must beat Birmingham anyway, as imo it's Man City who are the real problem here.

I disagree, they've got some tough games coming up as well. I said so early in the thread, and I'll stand by that if we equal or better Spurs' result this week we'll stand a great chance. I expect us to win most if not all the remaining fixtures after this. I actually think tomorrow's game is as difficult if not more than Chavs at home (for detailed explanation see page 2:-))
