Saw the first series earlier this year on the plane on  my way back from new zealand/Australia, my brother in law has all the box sets and lent me them on Thursday, I started again from the beginning and have nearly finished third series, totally addicted !

Two more episodes to go,fucking awesome viewing,watched nine episodes today,in bad books with wife because my housework list got well ignored,promised will catch up tomorrow after I have finished breaking bad

My brother in law who lent me the full series is bringing me the full dexter box set tomorrow, which he raves over and I have never seen,so i am guessing I may be in the bad books again soon when it comes to housework on my days off. Ha ha!

Apart from a few good moments, it's merely Ok until Gus/Mike/Saul turn up.

I think it was probably good but just not my kind of show until it got a bit more action packed and gangster esque, I have something of a one track mind.

Sums it up for me. Still a very good show just wasn't anywhere near that top bracket until season 3.

Felt it was ace once tuco showed up. Really showed the transformations of each characters.

I've always said it got ace around halfway through season 3 when Hank was shot. Everything after that is pure edge of the seat stuff.

I thought it started as it had to and developed brilliantly.

 

The worst episode by a mile was The Fly.

I felt seasons 1 and 2 were middling at times, but it just got better and better from then on. Immense television.

Really enjoyed the last season which I recently just finished, not so many filler episodes as earlier seasons. Was gutted that Skylar didn't get decapitated though.

 

Not quite in the same echelon as Sopranos and the Wire though due to some crap episodes and characters at times.
