I finished it today, really enjoyed most of it although some of it was a bit daft, I didn't find Walt's transition from nice family man to drug overlord to be entirely convincing, the amount pf time they spent on the phone discussing criminal activity was a bit odd and Skyler and her sister were a pair of complete bellends.

 

Other than that it had me hooked the whole way through and I'll probably give the spinoff a whirl when I get the chance.

Finished it last night, apart from the early episodes of Season 5 being slightly dull (mainly in comparison with the ridiculously entertaining Walt/Gus face off in Season 4), i loved every minute of it. I also thought it ended really well, tied up all the loose ends.

Started re-watching it. I'm about 17 episodes in. Weird how binge-watching it on Netflix is completely different from doing 2-3 episodes a week on DVD as I did first time round. Sadly, I'm finding that it is nowhere near as good second time round, probably because it is basically a very very good story, albeit with some excellent characters. There are some big plot twists and suspenseful moments that just don't work when you know what is coming. Walt (at least Season 1 and early Season 2 version) doesn't seem like as much of a cunt this time around - he is just starting his steep descent into cuntishness I guess.

I disagree, I think I've watched it twice completely and three times missing a few episodes here and there and I've loved it every time. i will probably leave it a few years to watch it again though. I can see myself binge watching the whole thing in 5 years or so though, maybe a bit longer.

It's still enjoyable, but whereas I can watch almost any episode of the Sopranos and still find some little nugget I'd missed first time round or forgotten about, I haven't had that with BB.

I have that small twang in the back of my brain saying this will be turd. Maybe I've just gotten my hopes up and been stung too many times. 

Saying that though, Breaking Bad is ace, and I can't imagine them making this unless there was a decent story to tell that actually adds value to the whole. Nobody really expected or asked for this, and they were having decent success with Better Call Saul, so to put that on hold in order to make this shows that they've got a lot of faith in the film. 

 

Fuck it I've changed my mind, I'm all in, this is going to be brilliant, yeah bitch!

He was a stupid,dopey,whiney little twat. I'd prefer much more Better Call Saul as its a great series but also as the actors will be appearing as zombies if they don't get a move on. Mike is ageing quicker than a Golden Labrador.
