There's no way we will get Cole, we only ever get shit players on frees. In fact, we must have comfortably the worst record with free transfers on the continent.

Maxi is good, so is Aurelio. Actually, Aurelio is quite probably what Cole will be like: good when he gets the chance to play.

It'd cost the guts of £30m to sign him (£6m for 4 years plus a signing on fee) There's not a chance of us signing him!

Take him. He would be a starter everyday of a week. Sigh him up, give him 6 millions for first season and if he is crap or injured, then we could still sell him next summer and we would probably get those 6 mil. back for him.

Hmm?

Joe Cole won't move out of London, he'll go to Spurs if 'Arry can pocket enough on the deal to take him to White Hart Lane.

What?

No such thing as a free transfer and he is going to cost 120,000 a week, plus a massive signing on fee, add his injury record into the frame and I think we should steer clear.

He would cost around twenty five million over four years, that is a lot of money for someone who is probably going to be out for long periods of time.

He will end up at city or spurs.

I can't begin to get interested in potential signings whilst C & A are still owners...the whole club is in a huge and dangerous mess. Who is going to sign when a new manager could arrive in weeks and not want them ? I really am depressed about the future of our club and am dreading the new season not looking forward to it.
